One of the longest-running and most beloved art festivals in the country, the Plaza Art Fair is in its 84th year. Enjoyed by artists for its knowledgeable crowds, attentive staff and beautiful location on the historic Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, the Plaza Art Fair attracts 300,000 art patrons each year. Ranked in the top ten fine arts festivals in the Art Fair SourceBook, it has grown over seven decades to be a premier festival of fine art and fine craft. The Plaza Art Fair is consistently recognized as Kansas City’s best annual event. It marks the arrival of autumn for Kansas Citians and artists alike, and attracts tourists from all over the Midwest.

The Museum Store Gallery will be exhibiting work that showcases Hollowware from July 31 - November 15, and this exhibit will include several raised metal vessels forged by Nile Fahmy & Michelle Fahmy. 

The Metal Museum is the only institution in the United States devoted exclusively to the advancement of the art and craft of fine metalwork. The Museum Store Gallery hosts rotating exhibitions of unique works by internationally acclaimed metal artists. Each exhibition is designed to highlight different styles and techniques within the field and to showcase work by some of the best artists working today.

Bellevue Square and Bellevue Arts Museum | FREE!

For nearly 7 decades, Bellevue Arts Museum has been celebrating the connection between our community and the world of art, craft, and design. Every July, for three full days, we create an oasis of high quality art and craft in downtown Bellevue. BAM ARTSfair features over 300 juried artists from around the continent showcasing unique, handmade craft and fine art. In addition, we offer a multitude of free community arts programming including; KIDSfair, BAM Exhibitions, public installations, & delicious food and beverages.

Come join us for our gallery exhibition at the RiverSea Gallery in beautiful Astoria, Oregon. We will be present to answer questions about our work at the opening night reception on July 11 from 5pm to 8pm. 

Trees & Tides is an exhibition by two sibling metalsmiths. Nile G. Fahmy and Michelle Fahmy collaborate on the design and creation of traditionally hammer raised vessels and forged metal objects. In Trees & Tides, Nile & Michelle will be exploring the geography of the borders between different landscapes. The forest meets the ocean, shadow plays with light, and the growth of new things is partnered with weathered shapes exposed to the elements. Through the use of copper & bronze, silver & gold, you will see metal emulating churning waters, ancient trees, and stolen glimpses of the natural world. The diversity of the form & movement presented in this metal collection throws into sharp relief the knowledge that every object is brought to life by the simple hammer blow.

Regarded as one of the nation's premiere fine art and fine craft fairs, MAIN ST. is recognized by the Harris List as the number one show in Texas and in the top five for the Midwest region. Under the white tents stretching along Main Street and the incredible umbrella canopies in Sundance Square Plaza, you will find the festival's "heart and soul," an enormous range of artworks — from sculpture to paintings, from the dramatic to the whimsical.  213 local, regional, national and international artists are here to personally talk you you about their work, and the environment couldn't be more pleasing to the senses.
