Art In The Pearl®, Portland Oregon’s annual Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, occurs every year on Labor Day weekend. The 18th annual festival will occur on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, August 30, 31 & September 1, 2014 in the Pearl District’s North Park Blocks. Art In The Pearl has been named one of the top 10 Arts and Crafts Festivals in the country (source: Art Fair Source Book). Our festival fills the Northwest Portland Park blocks with art, theater, music, and hands-on activities for people of all ages.

We hope you will enjoy your time in Park City at one of the oldest and largest Arts festivals in the West.

There’s something for everyone at this year’s festival. In addition to 220 exhibiting artists this year, don’t miss the city wide recreation and entertainment options and the restaurants participating in Taste of Art. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival serves as the primary fundraiser for the Kimball Art Center each year. Proceeds from the Festival enable the Kimball Art Center to provide, free of charge, year around art exhibitions, gallery tours, monthly “Art Talks” and to offer art education outreach to teachers, students and their community.

Cherry Creek Arts Festival

For three days during the July 4th holiday weekend since 1991, Colorado's signature cultural event is presented in Denver's Cherry Creek North. The festival is a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts and enjoys an annual attendance of 350,000 visitors. Special exhibits, art and culinary demonstrations, and interactive family activities on “Artivity Avenue” complement the festival experience.

Cottonwood Art Festival

Nile Fahmy will be exhibiting his metalwork at the Cottonwood Art Festival!

Now in its 45th year, the semi-annual Cottonwood Art Festival is a juried show. Jurors have selected over 240 artists from 1,400 submissions to exhibit their museum-quality work at the festival. The artists compete in 14 categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital, Drawings/Pastels, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalwork, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Wood. Rated as one of the top art festivals in the United States, the prestigious show is the premier fine art event in North Texas.

Art in the Square

Nile Fahmy & Michelle Fahmy will be displaying & selling Jewelry & Metalwork at Art in the Square!

The Southlake Women’s Club first presented Art in the Square as a community fundraiser in 2000. Since then, the festival has risen in the ranks to be the #8 fine arts festival in the United States, according to the well-known ArtsFair Sourcebook. With the generous help of our sponsors, we have now raised more than $1,700,000 to help fund charitable organizations serving women and families in NE Tarrant County.

Fully staffed and run by volunteers, our fine arts show offers:

  • Approximately 145 renowned artists, along with several emerging artists, all selected by jury
  • Wide variety of artwork media, including 2D, 3D relief, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and more
  • Continuous live performances on two stages
  • Juried youth artist exhibits
  • Tasty food and drink selections
  • Community support, with all proceeds donated to local charitable organizations serving women and families in Northeast Tarrant County

Fiesta Arts Fair

Nile Fahmy will be displaying & selling Metalwork at the Fiesta Arts Fair!

What began as a small art fair 40 years ago has grown into one of the highlights of Fiesta San Antonio. In both 2008 and 2009, readers of the San Antonio Current ranked Fiesta Arts Fair as the "Best Arts Fair" in San Antonio, citing the outstanding juried artists and the Southwest School of Art's "gorgeous grounds." Readers also ranked Fiesta Arts Fair as one of the three "Most Family-Friendly" Fiesta events.

Fiesta Arts Fair showcases the contemporary art of 120 artists from all over America. Ceramics, paintings, jewelry, glass, photography, wearable art and other high-quality artworks are for sale to accent one's home, table, or body.

The art fair is nestled among the shady trees of the school's historic Ursuline Campus adjacent to San Antonio's River Walk, and in the art school's gothic chapel. This event draws over 12,000 people to enjoy art along with regional music and some of the best Mexican food San Antonio has to offer.
