This is the making of Gurteen. Each of our vessels is hammer formed and sculpted from a single flat sheet of metal with no seams or welds. Gurteen began as a copper disc two feet across and took five months of hammering to finish. It is a major part of our current body of work and photos of the finished piece can be seen here.
